John Heim

Research: Applied econometrics of public sector productivity, including educational productivity.

Bio: Previously worked as a professional econometrician, specializing in studies of public sector productivity, particularly education. Then worked briefly in the NYS Governor's office evaluating educational efficiency. Served as Director of Budget and Fiscal Research for the minority party of the NYS Senate. Has taught economics at SUNY Albany and Russell Sage College's M.P.A. program. Author of over 40 publications and reports. Ph.D., SUNY Albany, M.P.A., Harvard.
